AccuWeather Forecast: Sunny day with chance of light showers tonight

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Our first significant storm of the season is heading to the Bay Area and is expected to arrive Monday evening

ABC7 News meteorologist Drew Tuma says the worst rain and wind will likely be Tuesday morning.

Expect the Tuesday morning commute to be slower than normal as the storm moves through. Isolated flooding and downed trees are possible.

Showers will begin to taper Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning

The rainfall total for many cities will range between .50"-1.5" with gusts above 30 mph expected.

Tuesday morning will be a level 2, a moderate storm, on the ABC7 Exclusive Storm Impact Scale.
