SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Crews finished filling in that huge sinkhole that materialized in San Francisco during last week's storm. Workers rushed on Wednesday morning to cover up the 20-foot crater with dirt.

They then put down a base layer of cement that they hope will completely dry before the first raindrops come down.

The sinkhole was caused when a water main ruptured below Lake Street and Sixth Avenue.
