San Francisco police searching for man who violently attacked woman

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- San Francisco police are asking for help in finding a man accused of violently attacking a woman on a downtown street corner.

The attack happened May 9 at the intersection of Grant Ave. and Geary Street around 11 a.m.

Police say the man called a 38-year-old woman a derogatory name and then punched her in the face.

Investigators hope this sketch will help them make an arrest.
