SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- San Jose's mayor is leading the charge to combat homelessness in the city.
Two years ago San Jose had around 6,500 homeless people living there, and 70-percent have no permanent shelter.
Members of the Downtown Streets Team, which were recruited from the homeless population, are helping the mayor to clean up the city.
