San Jose man wins $3.75 million from Scratcher ticket

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- A second chance changed a man's life in an instant. He learned his losing Scratchers ticket was worth $3.75 million.

Alexander Nguyen of San Jose used the California Lottery's Second Chance Program.

People with Scratchers that didn't initially win can go to the California Lottery website to enter two additional drawings.

Nguyen bought a ticket at Vogue Caf on Alvin Ave. in San Jose.

He said he and his wife are going to take a vacation and figure out what to do with the money.
