Bay Area ranks high on list of safest cities in Calif.

If you're looking for a safe place to live or to raise a family, you may not have too far to go.

A new report shows three of the top five safest cities in California are right here in the Bay Area.

According to the Movoto real estate blog, Hillsborough in San Mateo County tops the list.

Saratoga in Santa Clara County is second and is followed by Laguna Woods and the city of Imperial in Southern California. Moraga in the East Bay rounds out the top five.
