A's outfielder Josh Reddick gets soulful with "Careless Whisper" walk-up song

OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- Leave it to Oakland A's outfielder Josh Reddick to buck baseball convention. The free spirit is now using "Careless Whisper" by Wham as his walk-up song.

Players usually choose hard rock or hip hop music for the music played as a batter approaches the plate.

The fans seemed to like the change, swaying to the soulful sax.

Reddick's game liked it too; he had two hits last night, including a home run.

Reddick is the same guy who went most of last season without shaving as part of a bet.
