Tech company Zapier offering employees $10,000 to leave Bay Area

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- A tech company is hiring and offering new employees a lot of cash to leave the Bay Area.

Mountain View based Zapier says it's trying something new. How does $10,000 sound? CEO Wade Foster says it's part of its de-location package. Targeting people who are looking for a more affordable place to leave, but don't want to sacrifice potential career opportunities.

Zapier integrates apps to make your workflow smoother and share data. You'll have to work for the company for at least a year to qualify for the $10,000 offer.
