Dish Network announces 'Sling TV' at CES

LAS VEGAS (KGO) -- Los Gatos-based Netflix has some new competition from Dish Network.

The satellite TV company announced "Sling TV" on Monday at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The new service is aimed at millennial who don't have cable or satellite TV service.

Sling TV includes a dozen channels, including ESPN, TBS, TNT.

It costs $20 per month and will launch the first quarter of this year.

Dish Network is partnering with Foster City-based Sling Media on the new service.
