MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (KGO) -- Google is throwing its money, brain power and technology behind the humble spoon.

The Google Liftware spoon allows people with tremors and Parkinson's disease to eat without spilling their food.

We first showed you the spoon last year.

It senses how a hand is shaking and makes instant adjustments to stay balanced.

It reduces the shaking by an average of 76 percent.

The spoon is available just in time for the holidays.

It costs $295. A fork attachment is extra.
