Three suspects arrested for hit and run homicide in SF police chase
Three suspects were arrested for the hit and run homicide of Bridget Klecker during a high-speed police chase in San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- On April 10, 42-year-old Bridget Klecker was crossing the street at Kearny and California streets when three armed robbery suspects, who were on the run in a stolen car, hit her. The suspects didn't stop and continued to lead police on a dramatic, high-speed chase through San Francisco.

Police arrested 19-year-old Robert Pelesauma, 19-year-old Hunter Sagaiga and 18-year-old Faavesi Koka. All three were from San Francisco.

Klecker's friend and roommate, Samual Rosoff, told ABC7 News, "I mean, it does bring a little bit of closure and I'm glad they caught them so they don't kill anybody else."

We spoke with Klecker's father, John Klecker, by phone from North Carolina. He said, "It's not going to bring my daughter back, but we're appreciative that hopefully the folks that did it, were involved in it, aren't going to be able to do it again."

Klecker was a long-time San Francisco resident who loved her dog and her job, managing restaurants on the Google campus in Mountain View.

Friends say she was kind and caring. Rosoff added, "Bridget did not have a mean bone in her body and she was highly intelligent. She loved and could not get enough of this city."

Police say the dangerous felons were arrested with help from police in Hayward, Santa Rosa and the FBI.

The suspects were arrested for homicide, conspiracy, evasion of police, possession of a stolen vehicle, and multiple robbery charges.
