OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) -- An overturned big-rig blocked all lanes of westbound 80 just east of Treasure Island, causing traffic delays Thursday night.

Shortly before 9:40 p.m. three lanes of traffic reopened and the remaining two lanes were clear around 11:15 p.m.

Officials say the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Officials say the vehicle is filled with freight and winds are so high they may have to wait until 1 a.m. or 2 a.m. after traffic has died down to move the big-rig.

No injuries have been reported. Officials have yet to determine if the accident was caused by weather-related issues.
