Two seriously injured after head on crash on Highway 92

HALF MOON BAY, Calif. (KGO) -- A serious head on crash has prompted the closure of lanes in both directions of Highway 92, just inside the Half Moon Bay city limits.

The accident happened shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Officials say at least two people were seriously injured.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

It's unclear when the roadway will reopen.
