UPS to hire 100K workers this holiday season

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- UPS announced its hiring 100,000 people for the holiday season.

This year will be busier because the holiday shipping season is a week shorter than usual.

Workers will be paid more -- $14 to $30 per hour - to deal with the crush of packages.
