Clouds rule the sky this morning with pockets of drizzle along the coast. Our marine layer breaks down between 9 a.m. and noon for sunny skies. It is a breezy afternoon with highs in the upper 50s to the lower 80s.

The Look Ahead

We repeat the pattern of morning fog to sun on Saturday.

Sunday we will see a lot less fog in the morning leading to sunshine much faster. For Bay to Breakers in San Francisco expect partly sunny skies at the start of the race transitioning to mostly sunny skies later in the morning with temperatures in the upper 50s.

A warming trend will arrive early next week.
