Takeaway of the Day
Windy weekend weather is blowing through the Bay Area today and early tomorrow. Skies are sunny and temperatures are unusually warm for mid-January, with late afternoon readings in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. However, winds are gusting between 25 and 35 miles per hour across much of the region.
A WIND ADVISORY is in effect until 10 a.m. tomorrow. There is the possibility of downed tree limbs and scattered power outages.
The Look Ahead
We can expect sunny, breezy, and mild weather again tomorrow, but high temperatures will be a few degrees lower--60 to 64 degrees--though still slightly above average. Our days will remain sunny and dry through next week, but high temperatures will settle into a more seasonal range--generally around 60 to 62 degrees and turning even cooler next weekend.
