Muir Woods National Monument and Stinson Beach near Mill Valley in Marin County are also off limits because trees have been knocked down by the viscous weather, said National Park Service spokeswoman Chris Powell.
The first ferry from San Francisco to Alcatraz Island, which is part of the Golden Gate National Park Recreation Area, didn't depart the dock this morning and it is not known when the next one will, Powell said.
