Through May 4, the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University is presenting "Frederick Church, Winslow Homer, and Thomas Moran: Tourism and the American Landscape. The exhibition explores the work of three influential artists in the context of the new and growing tourist industry in the United States during the second half of the 1`9th century. It features more than 70 painted oil sketches, studio paintings and drawings. The Cantor Arts Center is open Wednesday – Sunday, 11 – 5, Thursday until 8pm and is located on the Stanford campus, off Palm Drive at Museum Way.
