The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and The PMI Group, Inc., in association with Chevron Corporation, convene the highly anticipated 2008 East Bay Women's Conference, Tools for Living: Constructing the Life You Want, Monday, March 3, 2008, 8:00 a.m. -5:30 p.m., at the San Ramon Marriott, 2600 Bishop Drive, San Ramon, CA. The distinguished humanitarian and scholar Madame Jehan Sadat, widow of Egypt's former president Anwar Sadat, will be the keynote speaker at the third annual conference, which blends keynote and featured speaker presentations, breakout sessions, exhibitor booths, bookstore and author signings, prize drawings, and a gala reception with live entertainment into one all-day social, networking, and educational event. Presenters will deliver tools to help people design, build, and remodel their personal and professional lives in the areas of leadership, finance, and health. John Muir Women's Health Center will offer free cholesterol, bone density, and blood pressure screenings. Organizers expect a sell-out attendance of 500.
