Keep an eye on your child's blood pressure

Lots of parents chart the height and weight of their children as they grow. Now, doctors say they may want to keep an eye on their kids' blood pressure.

Johns Hopkins researchers reviewed countless studies spanning over a 40 year period and found children with high blood pressure usually have it as adults. Physicians say this proves it's important to monitor blood pressure in a child.

In order to detect early signs of hypertension parents should make sure their kids eat a proper diet and stay active in order to keep blood pressure down.
