All lanes of northbound U.S. Highway 101 have reopened this morning in Sunnyvale after an overturned truck blocked three lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

An overturned Penske rental truck was reported at about 5:05 a.m., blocking the No. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the highway near the Lawrence Expressway, according to CHP Officer Kevin Kroncke.

The solo-vehicle crash caused minor injuries to the truck's driver, Kroncke said.

The CHP issued a Sig-alert for the three blocked lanes at about 5:35 a.m. and canceled it shortly after 6:30 a.m., Kroncke said.
