Officers responded around 8:45 a.m. to reports of a robbery at Rosanna's bakery at 408 Military E., No. A, police said.
A man reportedly entered the bakery and handed the victim a note demanding cash. He did not display a weapon. After securing an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the bakery on foot.
Police searched the area but were unable to find the suspect, described as a white man between 50 and 55 years old, standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 190 pounds with a salt-and-pepper mustache. He was last seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
