The checks, worth about $600 each, were returned because of incorrect or incomplete addresses. Altogether, there's $163 million in unclaimed money.
The deadline for claiming the checks was this Friday, November 28th, but IRS officials say you can still get the money as a credit when you file your 2008 tax return.
To find out if a check wasn't delivered to you, go to www.irs.gov and click on "Where's my stimulus payment." You can also call the IRS at 1-866-234-2942.
