The robbery was reported around 2:45 p.m. at the Credit Union at 830 Jefferson Ave., police said.
The suspect did not show any weapons.
He was described as a white man in his 30s, about 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, a black baseball hat, dark sunglasses and a white sweatshirt that was wrapped around his waist.
Witnesses said he headed west on Jefferson Avenue.
