The suspect is 36-year-old Sione Motuapuaka of Daly City. He was identified by an anonymous tipster who saw a surveillance photo.
Police say he attacked the woman in a walk-in refrigerator and then served a customer while she was tied up.
He was also arrested for a series of armed robberies in Daly City and Colma.
Motuapuaka was booked into the San Mateo County Jail and charged with five counts of armed robbery, kidnapping, sexual assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
