SF gets money to improve public housing

There is more stimulus money coming to the Bay Area.

The San Francisco Housing Authority announced Thursday it has been awarded $18 million to make improvements to distressed public housing over the next two years.

Mayor Gavin Newsom and housing authority officials said the money will not only improve living conditions, but will also create new jobs.
