The planning commission is holding a hearing at 7 p.m. Monday on a request by a Mill Valley couple who wants to open the new school at 270 Miller Avenue.
The location used to be the Russell and Gooch Funeral Chapel until three years ago.
The school would serve children ages two to six.
The would-be owners say they have already received dozens of applications.
