The event offers a pancake breakfast, the county's largest egg hunt, games, entertainment and a community parade, according to Bartholomew.

Central Park in San Mateo, where the event takes place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., is located within samTrans routes 390 and 391. Route 292 and 250 also stop within blocks of the park, Bartholomew said.

For more information about the event, call the city of San Mateo at (650) 522-7470. For more information about samTrans schedules and fares, call Customer Service at (800) 660-4287.
