Study: menopause affecting learning for women

A new study finds that women may not be able to learn as well shortly before menopause.

Researchers at UCLA studied more than 2,000 women.

They showed a lack of improvement on learning tests during the period just before menopause, and their cognitive abilities rebounded afterwards.

The study is published in the Journal Neurology.
