In the early rounds of the Miss Universe pageant held in the Bahamas, Miss Peru wore a national costume with a massive horned headpiece, inspired by a devil's dance.

The problem is that Bolivia claims it's a rip-off of Bolivian culture and has officially protested to Peru's government and pageant organizers.

Most historians agree the dance dates back to colonial times, before Peru and Bolivia existed as independent nations.

Miss Universe will be crowned on Sunday
