For the past 11 days, crews have been working around the clock to keep the cliff from collapsing and taking a nearby apartment complex with it.
The work has been slowed by high waves, wind and rain, but the company in charge of the project now says they expect to finish work at the bottom of the cliff today and will spend tomorrow driving steel plates in at the top of the cliff to help stabilize it.
