The boy, who had been convicted in juvenile court of robbery and theft, was discovered missing from the boys' ranch, officially known as the Orin Allen Youth Rehabilitation Facility, shortly before 5:30 p.m., Lee said.
Brentwood police found the teen a little before midnight and returned him to the facility on Bixler Road in unincorporated Contra Costa County. The boys' ranch serves as a youth rehabilitation facility for juvenile offenders.
