DIY Treatments:

Repair & protect: Honey & Oats

Oats are rich in beta glucan, soluble fiber that stimulates the repair of skin cells, reduces wrinkles, and protects against sun damage. Raw honey soothes skin with amino acids and increases elasticity. The addition of royal jelly boosts cell regeneration.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp. ground oats or oat flour
  • 1 tbsp. raw honey
  • ½ tsp. royal jelly or Yogurt
Directions:
  • Stir ingredients until creamy, apply mixture to face and leave on for 20 minutes.
Cleans & exfoliate: Fig & Olive Oil mask

Figs make powerful cleansers and thanks to their antioxidants, vitamins and humectants properties. Their tiny little oil-rich seeds gently exfoliate while active enzymes peel off dead skin. Olive oil stimulates cell regeneration and prevents and treats sun damage.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 smashed or pureed figs
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
Directions:
  • Combine ingredients, rub mixture onto face to exfoliate, and leave on for 5-10 minutes.
Tighten & Brighten: Peaches and Cucumber

Ripe with enzymes and vitamin A peaches help tighten pore. Cucumbers meanwhile nourish connective tissue and rejuvenate the skin thanks to their abundance of silica.

Their ascorbic and caffecic acids prevent water retention making them popular for reducing puffiness.

Ingredients:

  • ½ peach
  • ½ cucumber
Directions:
  • Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth, apply mixture to face leave on for 20 minutes.

TIPS:

Beauty for the Big Day or Special Occasion -Fantastic Face/Hair

  • For perfect skin - use an exfoliator and a hydrating mask twice a week the month before.
  • Increase your intake omega 3 oils and anti-oxidants into your diet! Supplements if possible.
  • If you decide to self-tan, test out at least two weeks before.
  • Don't use any new products the week before, on face, body or hair!
  • Watch your diet, less caffeine…Avoid Salts…any salty food.
  • Use a deep conditioning hair mask two weeks before.

Love your Body
