New study shows adults need less sleep

ENGLAND

A report from the University of Surrey in England shows healthy older adults sleep less than eight hours on average and feel less tired during the day than younger people.

People over the age of 66 tend to sleep 20 minutes less than 40-somethings and middle-aged adults sleep 23 minutes less than people in their twenties.

The study is published in the Journal of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
