Bones discovered on shoreline belonged to missing woman

HAYWARD, CA

Crow, 23, went missing on Jan. 30, Salinas police said.

Her husband, Jesse Crow, was charged with her murder on Feb. 22, according to Monterey County District Attorney Dean Flippo. Police said they found Crow's white Chevy Malibu a week after her disappearance was reported.

The bones were found May 25 when a man looking for marine life on the shoreline on the southwest edge of Hayward's city limits came across a human bone.

Police found bones scattered over 200 to 300 yards of shoreline south of the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge.

Authorities said at the time the remains might have belonged to Crow, and police said today DNA testing has confirmed the bones were hers.
