A market research firm found San Jose was number three on a top 20 list. San Francisco was number five. Topping the list was Seattle, Washington. Portland, Oregon was number two and Denver Colorado came in fourth.
The survey considered three things: The availability of coffee, how much was spent on coffee monthly, and total caffeine consumption from all sources including tea, sweets and energy drinks.
It found more than half of Americans over 18 are daily coffee drinkers.
