A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary at Santa Rosa High School early this morning, police said.

Shortly before 1:25 a.m., officers responded to a burglary alarm at the school, located at 1235 Mendocino Ave., and arrived to find several open doors at the school's gymnasium.

Officers searched the gym with the assistance of two police canines, and spotted a man leaving the north side of the building with property belonging to the high school in his possession, according to police.

Michael Martin Sullivan-Snell, a Santa Rosa resident, was arrested and booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of burglary. He also had an outstanding arrest warrant for being a parolee at large, police said.
