DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Responsibilities could include writing and editing daily news topical, syndicated topical, special report promos or station sponsored event promos. The job candidate must be comfortable in a television newsroom environment and display solid news judgment, have good conversational writing skills and the ability to work under deadline pressure. This position requires the ability to edit on a non-linear editing system, either News Edit or AVID and must have basic understanding of After Effects. Those applying should have a minimum of 3 years writing or producing experience in a medium/major news market.
Candidate must have the flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
