At about 8 p.m., Redwood City police officers were dispatched to J&G Liquors, located at 1402 Main St., on reports that an armed robbery has just occurred.
Police said that the two men entered the store, pointed a handgun at the clerks and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both suspects fled from the store on foot and were last spotted running north on Main Street, according to officers.
Police described the suspects as two adult black males wearing dark colored clothing.
