Obesity makes teens prone to at-risk behavior

The expectation would be that obese teenagers would not engage in as much risky behavior because of social isolation, but a study in the journal "Pediatrics" says obese teens are as prone to using alcohol or drugs, having high-risk sex, or contemplating suicide as teens at a healthy weight.

The study says obese teens may actually combine these behaviors in more dangerous ways, including a greater propensity to smoke.
