SF cops inadvertently tipped off Occupy protesters to raid

San Francisco police say a few officers inadvertently tipped off Occupy protesters to a planned raid last month via social media.

Police Chief Greg Suhr says the officers made comments on Twitter and Facebook revealing a raid was imminent.

Now the department is implementing new social media restrictions as a result of the leak. Officials say those in charge of running raids will avoid telling officers of their plans until just before they happen.
