The CHP says an 18-year-old woman was driving a blue Honda Civic southbound on 680 just north of the Vargas Exit around 9:40 a.m. when she somehow lost control and ended up underneath a big rig.
The crane being carried by the big rig came crashing down on the Civic. The woman was trapped inside, but crews pulled her from the mangled sedan and she was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries.
