'AK-47 Bandit' may be in the Bay Area

The man known as the "AK-47 Bandit" for the gun he carries was captured in video during a robbery in Vacaville on Monday, but police think he also robbed banks in Sacramento and Chino Hills.

He is described as a white male, 5'10", 180 to 220 lbs. He wears a ski mask and a blue vest marked 'Sheriff.' The FBI has posted a $20,000 reward.

Individuals who may have information regarding this suspect are asked to contact their local FBI office or law enforcement agency. Information can be provided anonymously.
