Police have made an arrest in a rare murder case in the tiny East Bay Hills town of Kensington.

Investigators found the victim stabbed to death, with a knife still in his chest, in the 600 block of Coventry Road. He's been identified as 81-year-old retired psychology professor and patient advocate James E. Durkin Jr.

Albany police have arrested 56-year-old Diane Sydenham in the case. A neighbor believes the two may have had a romantic relationship.
