Google is challenging hackers to break into one of its own products.

The Mountain View-based company is offering up to $2 million worth of rewards to anyone who can hack its Chrome browser by exploiting software bugs.

The competition will be held in October at a hacker conference in Malaysia. Google says it hopes to make Chrome stronger based on what it learns.
