Station owner Mike Hamed closed down for the day on Wednesday because no one would buy the gas he had to pay $4.76 a gallon for wholesale. Hamed says he tried negotiating with his supplier, but got nowhere, "I told him we needed to talk, we need to do something, but he said there's nothing to talk about."
Hamed re-opened for a few hours Thursday, but closed again after only getting four customers in five hours.
