For the fourth straight year Oakland police and firefighters lost their hair, but not their smiles Saturday at Children's Hospital. The event was the annual Saint Baldrick's Foundation fundraiser to help kids fight cancer.

In exchange for getting their heads shaved, Oakland police and fire employees had people donate money to the foundation.

In all, about 180 people got their locks sheared at the event. And according the Saint Baldrick's event website, over $200,000 was raised.

All donations are used to help raise money for life-saving cancer research.
