SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Today marks one week since Robin Williams' stunning death and this afternoon, fans of the Bay Area funnyman will hold a moment of silence in his honor.

A Facebook campaign is calling for people across the nation to hold a 'standing ovation' for one minute at 1 p.m., no matter where they are. San Francisco locations include Crissy Field, Justin Herman Plaza and Ocean Beach among others.

Williams took his life at his Tiburon home last week, suffering from depression and early stages of Parkinson's.
