OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) --On Tuesday, crews made a big step in transforming a dilapidated playground into a fun place to play in Oakland.
Crews installed rubber mats at a playground at Concordia Park next to Frick Middle School.
Most of the ABC7 News team pitched in with our parent company Disney and the non-profit group KaBoom! to build the playground in just six hours earlier this month.
City inspectors will now come out and take a look and then the playground will be open for fun.
