Over 150 evacuated from RV resort after creek water rises in South Bay

More than 150 people were evacuated from an RV resort outside of Morgan Hill Sunday morning because of fears of flooding from a nearby creek.

Around 10:15 a.m., fire officials with Cal Fire received a report of possible flooding at the Thousand Trails campground, located at 12895 Uvas Road in unincorporated Santa Clara County, according to a fire dispatcher.

As of 1 p.m., there was no estimated time for when they would be able to return, according to the dispatcher.
